Munising, Michigan

We arrived in Munising, Michigan on Wednesday afternoon. We met up with Mem and Larry and Janice and Ralph. Later that afternoon we took a cruise boat tour of the Pictured Rocks. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore has the most awesome and colorful rock formations in the entire Great Lakes area. The boat ride lasted about 3 hours. It was fascinating to see all the different shapes and colors. Some of these formations are over 200 feet above water level. It was a wonderful ride, and the water was so calm and beautiful. After the boatride we went to a restaurant call Sydney's and we had Whitefish for dinner. Of course Jim had to be different and got a salad, but those of us that got the fish were really delighted. Thursday morning Mem and I went to Curves and did our workout then came home and ate and took a nap. All that exercising made us hungry and tired!!! This evening we are having a steak dinner cookout. We looking forward to that and watching the beautiful sunset. Did I mention that we are camping right along Lake Superior? It's very beautiful and so relaxing. Well til the next time.........
